PCOS

Nutrition support for PCOS

Practical, evidence-based eating for polycystic ovary syndrome, shaped around your goals and working alongside your doctor.

PCOS affects periods, skin, weight, mood and long-term metabolic health, and it looks different in every woman. Online advice is full of strict rules and promises to "cure" it, which can make eating stressful.

Hamna follows the 2023 international PCOS guideline: there is no single PCOS diet, but a balanced dietary pattern, attention to insulin resistance and, where relevant, weight management can help. Your plan reflects your own goals, whether that is cycles, energy, skin, fertility or metabolic health.

Who this is for

This service may be right for you if:

  • You have been diagnosed with PCOS
  • You have signs of insulin resistance or raised blood sugar
  • You want to manage weight with PCOS in a sustainable way
  • You are confused by conflicting PCOS diet advice
  • Your gynaecologist has advised dietary changes

    Medical picture

Diagnosis, symptoms, medicines (such as metformin) and recent blood tests.

  2. 02

    Eating pattern

Meals, cravings, snacks, drinks and meal timing.

  3. 03

    Goals

Cycles, weight, skin, energy, fertility plans.

  4. 04

    Lifestyle

    Sleep, stress, activity and routine.

What your plan includes

  • A balanced eating pattern built on everyday Pakistani food
  • Carbohydrate quality and portions, with protein and fibre at meals
  • Weight guidance where it is relevant to your goals
  • Practical strategies for cravings and irregular routines
  • Coordination with your gynaecologist or endocrinologist

What to expect

You will leave with a clear plan and agreed next steps.

Follow-ups review how the plan fits your life and your goals. No specific outcome, such as regular cycles or weight loss by a date, is promised.

Common questions

Is there a special PCOS diet?
No single diet is proven best for PCOS. The evidence supports a balanced, healthy dietary pattern you can keep up, adjusted to your goals.
Can diet cure PCOS?
No. PCOS is a long-term condition. Nutrition can support symptoms and metabolic health alongside medical care.
Do I have to cut out dairy or gluten?
Not unless there is a specific medical reason. Unnecessary restriction is avoided.
I am trying to conceive. Can you help?
Yes, nutrition before pregnancy can be included, in coordination with your gynaecologist.
Can I do this online?
Yes.
