Weight Loss

Weight loss, built around your life

A structured, realistic approach to weight, based on your health, your routine and the food you actually eat.

Weight is rarely just about willpower. Sleep, stress, work hours, medical conditions, medicines and family meals all play a part. That is why a plan copied from the internet, or a diet that worked for someone else, often does not last.

Weight management with Hamna starts with understanding you. Together you agree goals that are realistic for your health, then build a way of eating you can keep up, with regular review and adjustment along the way.

Who this is for

This service may be right for you if:

  • You have tried several diets and found it hard to keep the weight off
  • Your doctor has advised you to manage your weight for health reasons
  • You have a condition such as PCOS, prediabetes or high blood pressure where weight matters
  • You want a structured approach that fits Pakistani food, family meals and a busy schedule
  • You would like to gain weight or muscle in a healthy way

How assessment works

  1. 01

    Health history

Medical conditions, medicines, previous attempts and anything your doctor has advised.

  2. 02

    Eating pattern

What, when and how you eat now, including meals out, snacks and family cooking.

  3. 03

    Measurements

Weight, height and, where useful, body composition and waist measurement, to set a clear starting point.

  4. 04

    Goals and barriers

What you want to change, what has made it hard before and what is realistic now.

What your plan includes

  • A personalised eating plan or flexible guidelines, built around foods you already eat
  • Practical portion guidance using everyday Pakistani meals
  • Strategies for the situations you find hardest, such as evenings, weddings or work
  • Realistic goals that are reviewed and adjusted at follow-up

What to expect

You will leave with a clear plan and agreed next steps.

Follow-up sessions review how the plan is working in real life. Steady, sustainable change is the aim; no specific amount of weight loss is promised.

Research & evidence

Common questions

How much weight will I lose?
It is not possible to promise a specific result, and you should be cautious of anyone who does. Progress depends on your health, starting point and circumstances. The aim is steady change you can maintain.
Will I have to give up foods I enjoy?
Usually not. The plan is built around your normal food. Some foods may become smaller portions or less frequent, but the aim is a way of eating you can keep.
Do you prescribe weight loss medicines or supplements?
No. Dietitians do not prescribe medicines. If you are taking or considering weight loss medication, nutrition support can work alongside your doctor's care.
Is this suitable if I have PCOS or thyroid problems?
Yes. These conditions are taken into account in the assessment and plan, alongside the care you receive from your doctor.
Can I do this online?
Yes. Weight management works well online. You may be asked to share measurements taken at home.
